The calm is absolute except the sound of the wind and the sea when it is high.
Coming from the family of one of the painters and watercolorist of the region (Jacques Simon), you will be able to find his environment as well as all the landscapes found on the canvases.

La Chamade is located in a quiet area aside from the village, along pathways leading to the Vauban's hut and to the small river, called Lude, that flows into the sea at the base of the cliff. La chamade is in the middle of prairies and forests from which hinds show out early in the mornings.
